Chemi Multifabrics Limited was established in 1988 under the name of Rab Textile Mills (Private) Limited.

The factory was located on Landhi, it is approachable from main city of Karachi less than 45min drive, the place is known as Landhi Industrial Area an industrial site which has seen the growth of industries over the past.

Shortly after, Rab Textile Mills (Private) Limited was change the name in 1994 as Chemi Multifabrics Limited.
